Amsterdam – Actors from Lecce-based theatre company Teatro Kereja are touring the Netherlands until 24 October with LáQua, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Amsterdam. The show, designed for young children, revolves entirely around water. Through music, audiences experience the changing character of this element, from a gentle stream flowing quietly to a powerful, raging river. Using paper boats, flowing fabrics and dynamic performances, the actors explore the many forms water can take. LáQua is a sensory experience in which parents and babies share the discovery of the world through observation and listening. During the performance, parents experience the show on the same level as their babies, offering a special opportunity to watch their children enjoy themselves while engaging with them in an entirely new way.
